Construction Wellness: Fostering Brain Health within the AEC Industry

Join us in paving the way for a healthier, more resilient building industry. The AEC sector, while immensely fulfilling, presents distinct challenges that affect our teams' wellness and wellbeing.  Throughout the past decade, organizations of all types have had to endure a level of change, some say, has been unprecedented. As the CEO of a multi-billion-dollar organization recently said in confidence, “There are days when I don’t know what to say to the organization.”  Leadership now goes beyond traditional management—it's about championing the cognitive and emotional fitness to enhance productivity. How we think about supporting the workforce’s health necessitates different conversations.

As we hold different leadership positions, influencing both our organizations and clients, gaining insights into enhancing brain health throughout the sector becomes crucial. This interactive workshop provides a space for leaders and emerging professionals with:


    •    Developing leadership strategies that support mental wellness and brain health, particularly during periods of uncertainty, elevated stress, and employee burnout.

    •    Identifying and understanding mental health challenges in the workplace and advocating for proactive measures to promote both collective and individual wellbeing.

    •    Acquiring respectful and thoughtful communication tools to discuss mental health, ensuring regular check-ins with colleagues, friends, and family about their wellness.
